Energize Our Neighborhoods

Neighborhood Investment Program

The Neighborhood Investment Program is a partnership between the City of Boise and City registered neighborhood associations. The program funds comprehensive neighborhood plans and capital construction projects to help enrich the lives of our citizens, enhance the identity and quality of life in our neighborhoods and encourage a strong sense of community. The program also funds mini-grants to support neighborhood communication and community-building.

Community Visioning Events

A Visioning Event brings neighborhood residents together to develop a shared vision for where they live, work and play. No idea is too big or small - the goal is to think creatively and passionately about future investments that support the neighborhood's shared vision. Over the Spring, Summer, and Fall of 2018, the Energize team held multiple Visioning Events in the South Boise Village, West Bench, and West End neighborhoods to collect feedback from residents.

If you live in one of these areas, but did not have a chance to attend a visioning event, you can still provide your feedback in an online survey. Click on the link for your neighborhood below.
